Moodle and her Hair

So we were making Amanda "brush out" her hair one Sunday morning before church and it was quite a sight. So we brought out the camera and captured the moment for all of the world to see!

As Hunter stated once before - "Mandy you will have awesome wedding hair!" Meaning that on her wedding day she will be glad she has the hair she does. This came after she was complaining because we had to brush out tons of knots. If it was longer she would look like "Thing" from the Adams Family!

Our 17th Anniversary

On August 6th 1994 Craig & I were married at Mission Hills Church in Greenwood Village, Colorado. It was a beautiful day full of memories, family, friends and hot temperatures (a record breaking 105).

This year we were able to go out and celebrate at the Bear Creek Cafe in Midway, Utah. Thanks to our wonderful "big" kids, Hunter and Lexy, everyone was taken care of even little Annika. We had a relaxing dinner and just enjoyed each other for the 2.5 hours we were gone. Our life together has been wonderful to say the least.

Rock Band in Dixie

After several nights searching for all the pieces to Rock Band. The kids and Papa were able to rock the night away. Lots of fun and lots of memories, priceless.

Grandma's Unexpectd Visit

We did not expect to have Grandma come back to Heber City until Chritmas. She is in the middle of packing for a move to Canada. But she was able to squeeze a quick trip in at the end of June and she brought along Hunter's friend Artie for a visit too.

The boys have this constant battle going, of who is taller each time they meet up. (which is about once a year - Artie has now moved to West Virgina- so it will now be less)Artie is currently in the lead.

For the entire 3 days they played video games, rode bikes to the local candy store, had a water gun fight, watched movies and played more video games! Good times!

Our New Baby Girl Arrives....

Annika Lynn Burchardt, decided to join us in this world on April 16th, 2011. Only 5 days after Lexy's Birthday. She was 19 inches long and weighted 7 lbs. She came 4 weeks early, her due date was May 15th, 2011.

Craig and I headed to the hospital around 2am and she arrived around 12:45pm. The nurses at the hospital in Park City were the best ever! Annie had a hard time with her blood sugar levels and also getting the hang of breathing on her own. Some of the pictures show her with a CPAP machine to regulate her "exhale".

A New Place to Call Home..

So here it is our new place in Heber City, Utah. We had a very hard time leaving Reno, all our wonderful friends, neighbors and Lake Tahoe! What a beautiful place we left...hopefully we will get to visit real soon.

Time to catch our breath and relax right! Wrong, now we need to unpack and get ready for Burchardt Baby #5, our little girl. Not to mention finish up the 8th grade for Hunter, 6th grade for Lexy, 2nd grade for Amanda and Kindergarden for Hudson!
